Here is a table of soup kitchens that serve free meals by day of the week that serve either breakfast lunch or dinner. Of course, Roof Above (945 N. College) has a soup kitchen that serves lunch EVERY day including Saturdays and Sundays at 11:15am. Also, St. Luke Missionary Baptist has “Grab N Go” meals every weekday at 1600 Norris Ave. In addition to that great resource, the people below also offer meals to those in need.
NOTE: as of the end of December Mecklenburg County has discouraged or prevented any meals being offered near VAPA or the HRC. Come back to this page in early January for an update, but you can assume that the locations in red are probably not open.
