What are we about and what’s our mission?

We are a group of retired people who continue to volunteer within Charlotte’s homeless resources. In our volunteer work in various organizations, we have seen a lot of places where the homeless can get help but no on-line advocate.  We want to create a tool to help homeless folks with phones or the people who are employed as “navigators” to help homeless people find the right resources.

Our vision is a website that is more than just a resource for the homeless. We will use our copious free time to make a concerted effort to reach out to the many organizations trying to help Charlotte’s homeless and imbue each organization’s heart on to the postings on this page. Our strategy is to use those personal interactions to make the content on this site very compelling for the homeless and those folks who choose to help them navigate all the resources in this town.
