Assist Me is a resource for low or no-income folks who need things like Hospital Beds, Wheelchairs, Scooters, Tub Transfer Benches, Shower Chairs, Lift Chairs, Bedside Commodes, Upright Walkers, Knee Scooters, Bathtub Grab Bars, Canes and Rollators. They have a supply of gently used equipment that has been donated by former patients and members of the community.
They are located on the bottom floor of the Atrium clinic building on the corner of Kings Dr and East Blvd. Just turn into their upper driveway off of Kings Dr and park in their upper lot. Then go thru their front door facing Kings and take the elevator to floor 1R. They are tucked away behind the Osteopathy Department.
Their address is 1350 S Kings Dr in the Atrium Myers Park Clinic. Their hours or Mon~Fri from 8a ~ 5p. But… sometimes they are not there. Call or email first to make sure they are there and that they have the kind of equipment you need. Here’s their contact info:
