Based on a recommendation from United Way’s A Home For All project, we have created two different maps based Mecklenburg County’s Resource Guide.
- The Simple map shows all the resources and is just designed to zoom in on whatever area is of interest. If you’re a case manager, it might be good to visualize all the resources near you. Just click on any resource point to see it’s contact info and website.
- The Advanced map has a list of ten layers grouping the resources of the county by type. For clarity you can uncheck any layer so that you’ll see a map of only one type of resource. Just click on any resource point to see it’s contact info and website.
Click this button on the map to toggle the list of layers/legend.
Click this button on the map to expand it to fill your entire screen. (this works best on desktop computers) The list below explains the abbreviations for all the categories.
- CM = Case Mgmt
- Co = Counseling
- Em = Employment
- Fi = Financial Assistance
- In = Intl Srvcs
- IR = Info & Referral
- Le= Legal
- Me = Medical
