Based on a recommendation from United Way’s A Home For All project, we have created several different maps based Mecklenburg County’s Resource Guide. and the Second Harvest Food Bank Pantry List
- The Simple map shows all the resources and is just designed to zoom in on whatever area is of interest. If you’re a case manager, it might be good to visualize all the resources near you. Just click on any resource point to see it’s contact info and website.
- The Advanced map has a list of ten layers grouping the resources of the county by type. For clarity you can uncheck any layer so that you’ll see a map of only one type of resource. Just click on any resource point to see it’s contact info and website.
- The Food Pantry map shows each food pantry with a switchable layer for each day of the week.
- The Soup Kitchen map shows each soup kitchen with a switchable layer for each day of the week.
These icons control the map display.
allows you to display/expand the map layers.
will expand the map to be full-screen.
Click this after you click on a site and you’ll get directions and vicinity map.
